Dreamy Head In The Clouds by Inessa Ivascanin

Features

ARTIST NOTES: Acrylic on canvas, Ready to hang 102cm (W) x 152cm (H) x 4cm (D) The painting depicts a surreal island girl with a dreamy expression on her face. She appears to be surrounded by nature, with trees and moss growing around her shoulders. The most striking feature of the painting is the interesting, colorful buildings on top of her head. The vibrant colors of the buildings contrast beautifully with the serene nature surrounding the girl. In the background, there are other floating islands, each with its unique features. One island has a snail that represents the beauty of slowing down in the age of speed. Another island has a lighthouse and little seaplane flying with a sign that says "Happy Days." The owl guardian on one of the islands adds a touch of mysticism to the painting. Next to the fantasy island, there is a sailboat that appears to be harboring, adding a sense of calmness and relaxation. The painting is textured, which adds depth and character to the various elements. Overall, the painting is a beautiful portrayal of nature, imagination, and the beauty of slowing down and enjoying life. The clouds and floating islands of this painting are filled with a lot of positivity. It's about growing and believing, not giving up on dreams.

ARTIST BIO

My growth as an artist

Since early childhood, I have had a passion for art that has only grown stronger with time. I have had the privilege of receiving both formal and informal education in the field, which has helped me to refine my skills and develop my unique style. After completing my degree in Ukraine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Primary School Teaching, I moved to Australia in 2002. Since then, I have continued to explore different mediums, including porcelain art, spray painting, oils, watercolour, and acrylics.

One of the most significant factors that have contributed to my growth as an artist is the amount of time I have spent practicing in my home studio. Through countless hours of experimentation and exploration, I have been able to refine my technique and develop my own artistic voice. Additionally, I have been working with children for many years, both in the classroom and as a parent. This experience has allowed me to share my love of art with others and to encourage them to explore their own creativity.

Overall, my journey as an artist has been filled with challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to learn and grow, and I look forward to continuing to explore new mediums and techniques in the years to come.
