ARTIST NOTES: Acrylic on paper, ready to hang. Signed on the front. This artwork comes with an external frame This portrait painting measures 37x49 cm, framed and signed at the front. I painted Polly with all the colours of the rainbow, that capture her beauty. Polly in Technicolor
Once upon a time, there lived a vibrant parrot named Polly. Unlike any other parrot, Polly wore a stylish pair of glasses, a headscarf, and scarf that gave her a unique and quirky feel. Her head was filled with dreams, and she imagined all the adventures she could embark on. Even as a painting, Polly continued to dream of the day she could spread her wings and explore the world beyond the canvas. Who knows? Maybe one day she'll get her chance. Despite her bold appearance, there's a sense of serenity and calmness in the way she gazes into the distance. My hope that this painting brings a smile to someone’s face:)

ARTIST BIO

My growth as an artist

Since early childhood, I have had a passion for art that has only grown stronger with time. I have had the privilege of receiving both formal and informal education in the field, which has helped me to refine my skills and develop my unique style. After completing my degree in Ukraine with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Primary School Teaching, I moved to Australia in 2002. Since then, I have continued to explore different mediums, including porcelain art, spray painting, oils, watercolour, and acrylics.

One of the most significant factors that have contributed to my growth as an artist is the amount of time I have spent practicing in my home studio. Through countless hours of experimentation and exploration, I have been able to refine my technique and develop my own artistic voice. Additionally, I have been working with children for many years, both in the classroom and as a parent. This experience has allowed me to share my love of art with others and to encourage them to explore their own creativity.

Overall, my journey as an artist has been filled with challenges, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to learn and grow, and I look forward to continuing to explore new mediums and techniques in the years to come.
